Memory Leak privacy policy
Effective August 25, 2026.
What Memory Leak receives
- The display name you choose.
- Only the exact, paraphrased memory cards you approve for a room.
- Guesses, scores, room presence, and technical connection events.
- Random room and player credentials needed to authorize a game session.
Memory Leak cannot browse your canonical ChatGPT Saved Memory store and does not request full conversation transcripts. ChatGPT sends only the tool arguments used to create or join a room.
How cards are shared
Other players in your room see each selected card during play. The owner is hidden until the reveal. Players may repeat, record, or screenshot what they see, and the service cannot undo that disclosure.
Storage and deletion
Room data is stored in a Cloudflare Durable Object. Unstarted rooms expire after up to two hours, active games after up to six hours, and finished results after 30 minutes.
Cloudflare SQLite Durable Objects support point-in-time recovery for up to 30 days, so deleted live data may remain recoverable in Cloudflare backups during that period. Your ChatGPT conversation may separately retain candidate and approved text according to your ChatGPT settings.
Logging
Application code does not log memory text, player credentials, WebSocket frames, or MCP tool arguments. Operational metadata such as route status and Worker errors may be available to the developer and Cloudflare.
Your choices
Do not approve a card you do not want shared with the room. You may remove or rewrite candidate cards before joining. Closing the game stops your live connection; room data expires automatically under the schedule above.
